David has been practicing clinical massage and Osteopathic Medicine for over 18 years. Through psychological (mindfulness) and physical treatments, David has been helping a lot of patients use their own natural healing processes and create body balance.
Received his Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta, Canada.
He is a registered Counselling and Clinical Psychologist in Ontario, Canada.
He served as the Student Representative in the Board of Directors of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) from 2016-2017. ACBS is the international professional home for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Since then, he co-founded the Asian Culture and CBS Special Interest Group (SIG) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion SIG. Also, he is serving as the Member-at-Large of the Counselling Psychology Section of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) from 2020-2022, and chair-elect of the "CPA Counseling Psychology" branch.
Clinical Interests: Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Self-Criticism, Health Anxiety (hypochondria), Meaning of Life, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Integrative Psychotherapy.
Currently practicing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with an MA degree in English Literature in the year 2000, now having over twenty years dedicated in language services for international organizations and commercial companies, and having published over thirty translated books and publications; former member of China Association of Women Entrepreneurs; now a freelance translator and contracted translator of Cambridge University Press, UK
